We are members of Lutheran Church - Canada. The documents below outline what we believe as Lutherans.
The basics of our faith can be found in Luther's Small Catechism which can be found by clicking the button below.
This book lays out our beliefs and explains: The Ten Commandments, The Creeds, The Lord's Prayer, The Sacrament of Holy Baptism, Confession, and The Sacrament of the Altar.
We believe The Holy Bible to be the authoritative Word of God.
We also believe the faith that is confessed in the 1580 Book of Concord explaining Holy Scripture to be good and true. This exposition focuses us on God's Word about our sinfulness as humans (Law) but also God's love and free gift of forgiveness for us in Jesus Christ by His death on a cross for us (Gospel).
If you wish to learn more about the Christian faith by examining the Book of Concord (concord meaning agreement and unity) that was developed at the time of the Reformation, please click on the button below.
If you have any questions about this faith, please use the "Ask us a Question" button below to send us an e-mail and our pastor will reply shortly.

Our pastors are regular men formed for service at Lutheran Church-Canada's two theological seminaries in both Edmonton, Alberta and St. Catharines, Ontario.
Before entry into the seminary, a bachelor's degree or higher is usually required. Formation at the seminary (as an accredited Master of Divinity program) usually takes four years.
One year, usually the third year in the program, is a vicarage or internship year. In this year the student gets hands-on experience working with a pastor in a parish.
The other three years are spent at the seminary taking classes and studying Scripture and theology in various ways. This includes taking classes on Exegetical Theology, Systematic Theology, Historical Theology, and Practical Theology as well as being mentored and formed as a servant of Christ.
